Asociatia pentru Cultura si Tango (A.C.T.)

The Association for Culture and Tango is a non -governmental, non-profit, non-partisan entity.
The mission of our association is to promote Argentine tango as an "Intangible Cultural Good" as it personifies cultural diversity, dialogue and it represents the essence of a community. Among our objectives are the promotion of non-formal education and personal and professional development.
Our Association has developed in the last two years, three European projects under the Youth in Action Programme. We taught Argentine tango classes to students from high schools and universities in Bucharest , we have made conferences about the benefits of the Youth in Action Programme in general and about the contribution that tango can bring to developing social and civic competences and skills of entrepreneurship
