Asociatia Doinita Dance Studio

Asociatia Doinita Dance Studio was founded in 2012 in Bucharest, Romania. The association is working on cultural events and it has under its umbrella the Doinita Folk Ensemble from Bucharest Romania. The activities that we have include organizing traditional events, organizing cultural youth exchanges and going to folk projects in other countries. We had several partnerships in Erasmus+ and in 2021 we have our first approved project.
Asociatia Doinita Dance Studio organized in april 2014 and march 2015 two international intercultural exchanges called “Schimbul Cultural International Zilele Prieteniei in Romania”, in translation “International Cultural Friendship Gathering” In Bucharest, Romania. The project was based on folk dance and music exchange, we organized one gala performance, a parade in the city and 2 workshops at the Students’ House of Culture from Bucharest. In 2014 we invited folk groups from Slovenia, Bulgaria and Serbia. In 2015, we had groups from Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece.
