TuEuropa Association was founded by the concern of four young people from our town ( Las Rozas de Madrid) to carry out international mobility projects, within Erasmus+; with the aim of promoting youth participation and their commitment to solving the problems that we have to live, becoming actors of change.

Our main goals are:

- Encouraging youth participation implies recognizing and nurturing the strengths, interests and skills of young people by offering real opportunities for them to get involved in decisions that affect them individually and as a group, because there is nothing more beneficial than learning by doing. We believe in the importance of this value, for this, using the safe spaces of Erasmus+, to think freely, to be informed, to be heard, to have their opinion taken into account, to live according to their identity, culture, customs, to speak their own language, to play, to rest and even to practice the religion they prefer is part of their right to participate in the community. Furthermore, we maintain that there is no experience better learned than the one lived by the person himself.

- Promoting the values of the European Union to strengthen economic, social and territorial cohesion and solidarity among EU countries, always from a youth perspective; always respecting the richness of its cultural and linguistic diversity, with special emphasis on the latter. Creating a youth that also protects and defends justice and the fundamental values of the EU, through their knowledge in various fields and informing them, in an objective manner, about the situation of the rule of law throughout the Union.

- Promote inclusion and diversity (social integration), intercultural dialogue and the values of solidarity, equal opportunities and human rights among young people in Europe. On the one hand, by diversifying the sources of talent through professional and personal experience gained in the projects we intend to carry out and, on the other hand, by investing in resources for interdisciplinary training and skills enhancement, through the various programs within Erasmus+.

- Stimulating the critical spirit of young people, encourages a love of knowledge, curiosity, values, argumentation and autonomous decisions. All this, transmitting values such as empathy, justice, equality, respect and tolerance, freedom, honesty, responsibility or humility. Since every European and world citizen must have this critical thinking, which includes the ability to reason and think logically, analyze and judge situations adequately and act on a well-founded basis.

- To favor personal fulfillment, it consists of adopting new ideas or ways of seeing life or processing what happens in it, but also of adopting new behaviors, knowledge or radically changing professions. The main key to have a good personal development, experts say, is to get out of what they call "comfort zone", which is the zone where a person is comfortable, since there are no challenges or discomforts that they do not know; leaving that zone implies reaching unknown terrain, to look for things they do not know. To this end, we seek to empower youth, so that by traveling to other countries and meeting people from different cultures, they build themselves as new people.

Through our youth association, we want young people to learn to participate, to educate them in participation and through participation, in the development of group awareness and responsibility. Being aware of the importance of contributing constructively to the shaping of the local and global society in which we live.
