Asociación Nowhere

NoWHere is a non-profit association whose main objective is to foster intercultural encounter and awareness of the different identities and differences between cultures. We understand that the best way to achieve this is by knowing it first hand and on the ground. That is why we organize adventure trips based on the principles of sustainable tourism, collaboration with organizations and associations with action on destinations, contact with local communities and direct involvement with their ways of life.

To meet our fundamental objectives, our trips are oriented around three axes: 1). Historical-cultural 2) Social development; 3) Enviromental relationship

1) Cultural history:
Our mission is to travel, understanding the local history and the social problems that are linked with it. Any traveler who accompanies us will be able to get to know the current realities of the countries up close and in first person.

2) Social development:
We intend to become aware of the problems linked to social inequality, its impact on the of working activities, and its consequences on the organization and ways of life of the communities. The objective is to promote reflection and motivate self-criticism regarding our individual and collective responsibilities, as well as possible forms of humanitarian action. We also encourage participation in different development cooperation programs, NGOs and other social actions, depending on the areas we visit.

3) Enviromental relationship:
We will try to encourage the treatment of travelers with the environment through outdoor sports and adventure activities, always based on respect for nature. In Nowhere we understand sport as a favorable element of people's relationships with each other and with the world in which we live.
