Asociación Juvenil Almenaras

Our organisation is a youth association situated in
Rincón de La Victoria(Spain). The NGO is created with a really defined general objetive: To offer the same opportunities to Axarquía's youngsters than the others young people of Málaga. Axarquía region contain a big number of little towns which a rural background, what is a "wall" to arrival of information, opportunities and projects to those areas. Those reasons are why
Asociación Juvenil Almenaras its created, to create a net of communication between all the youngsters of Axarquía and bring opportunities of personal and professional development.

The objetives of the NGO are:
- To inform and guide youngsters about the opportunities the can have access to promote the balance of opportunities in the youth field.
- To promote the European mobility or the young people.
- Develop educative projects through activities and creation of spaces based in a non-formal education.
- Advising in the field of dependency in a biopsicosocial level.
- To prevent the social exclusion's risks in children or youngsters through activities what promotes their inclusion.
- Creating playfulness spaces like promotion way of the region with activities based in a intergenerational participation.

To archive the objetives the association try to carry out this activities:
- To inform, guide and advice about youth program of international mobility.
- To promote, create and manage social projects youngster can participate in.
- To promote the participation of Axarquía youngster's in Training's, exchanges and European volunteer services .
- To develop our user's capacities creating and managing activities using non-formal education methods.
- Information and counselling about Technics and good practices to people who suffer dependence situation and their relatives with occupational therapy methods.
- Workshops and activities for children and youngsters who are facing a lack of social inclusion.
- To develop activities and recreational events.
- Setting up alliances with others NGOs to make common projects.
- Making activities and projects about sociocultural animation.
- To promote the concept of volunteering and the participation of youth people in the culture social and participation.
