Asociación Ecoperia

Ecoperia is a non-profit organization which is currently comprised by employees and volunteers. We are filled with a young, constructive and proactive spirit and have been trained in different fields. We believe that we can accomplish something worth it enough by sharing our common effort.

Our idea is based on the development and implementation of new social related projects which can be sustainable and have a positive impact on employment creation. We want to pass on the idea of an alternative social and economic development paradigm where equality of opportunity, global justice and the commitment with the logical limits of nature are the pillars of this model.

Our activities are bound to the following goals as described below.

• To foster a social-committed undertaking and spirit by carrying out awareness campaigns and driving initiatives that provide solutions to current problems.
• Labor market insertion strategies. That is to create jobs for those who have been left out by social exclusion through our projects.
• Knowledge sharing. Workshops, courses and seminars are developed in order to spread our way of working and mindset all over those who are interested in our projects.
• To foster the production and consumption of ecological and organic products through our campaigns linked to our projects.
• To encourage responsible consumption and solid environmental respect values. Blogging of our partners and collaborators will help to do so.
• To drive international cooperation actions which generate development opportunities for higher disadvantaged regions and promote a fair global justice.
• To impel the active and young population to take part of this action plans and to extend a wider vision on solidarity and tolerance. We achieve these thanks to the duty of the European Programme ‘Youth in Action’.

Nowadays, we are actively working on several projects within different sectors such as organic agriculture, fair trade and natural resources management (biomass). These will be integrated in the setting-up of an enterprise which will facilitate vocational integration and reintegration into the labor market for population groups in social exclusion situations. That is, social groups such as reformatory station interns, drug dependent persons, immigrants and people under poverty threshold.
