Who we are?

ASMEA (Social Actions through Active Educational Methods) is a non-profit organization that promotes social inclusion, participatory education, and youth volunteering.
Our mission is to support the personal and social development of children and young people through active, innovative, and learner-centered educational methods that foster civic engagement, solidarity, and social responsibility.

What we do?

We run educational and social activities for children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds;

We manage a Day Centre offering school support, counseling, and empowerment activities for children aged 6–16 who face social and economic difficulties.

We organize youth volunteering programs, giving young people opportunities to get involved in educational and community projects while developing personal, social, and professional competences;

We promote human rights, democratic values, and active European citizenship through non-formal education and civic initiatives;

We design non-formal learning programs that help reduce school dropout and foster social inclusion among young people.

Our experience

Using active, participatory, and experiential learning methods, we have created inclusive learning environments that empower young people to reach their full potential.
Our volunteers are actively involved in planning and implementing activities, contributing to a positive community dynamic and to building bridges of solidarity between generations.

Our interest in Erasmus+

We are interested in taking part in:

-Cooperation Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships in the field of education and youth;
-Youth Exchanges;
-European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering projects;
-Initiatives that promote inclusion, civic participation, cultural diversity, and non-formal education.
