Artillery Youth Services

Artillery is a youth led initiative based in three locations in North Belfast. We work with children, young adults and their families. We deliver youth services around key themes of education, employment, empowerment and poverty.

Our work with young people includes a process of engagement and outreach; participative structures to involve young people and parents in decision making processes; access to physical resources such as computer suites, sports facilities, training rooms, creche and catering provision; and a commitment to innovation, quality assurance and the communication of the learning model across a range of sectors.

We have a breadth of experience of programme delivery, planning, participative practice and a reputation for innovation and excellence. A KMPG report for Government in Northern Ireland on Artillery described us as " "Inspirational, dedicated, dynamic, suitably qualified and experienced Youth Workers who are cognisant of the issues facing the local community....The commitment of both staff and volunteers was apparent. "

We believe that we use genuinely innovative practice with a very clear understanding of its responsibilities to improve the lives of young people and have an impact on the strategic framework of work with families and the wider community of North Belfast.
