ARRABAL AID

The main mission of the Association Arrabal AID is to improve the quality of life of the population, especially those at risk of social exclusion, such as people prisoners, prostitutes, families, people with disabilities, etc. Since 1992 we have been carrying out this mission through four main areas:

- Employment: conducting career guidance programs and self-employment, job placement, professional internships, business awareness towards hiring people at risk of social exclusion, etc.

- Social Revitalization: aimed at the general public programs that promote participation in various fields, promote the feeling of belonging to the neighborhood, volunteer management for carrying out different activities (classes for foreign population Castilian, digital literacy bridging the digital divide, leisure time in prison, ...), social entrepreneurship and care program in families at risk of exclusion.

- Training: carried out various training programs focused primarily on improving the employability of those with more difficulties in access to employment.

- Communication: In addition to visualize all the activities of the Arrabal AID association is also responsible for sensitizing the general public about the situation of the most disadvantaged.

In November 2014, we received the National Award for entrepreneurship education, through our work we do for the exaltation of ideas and project development. Therefore, from our areas: social activism, training and employment, we have come to develop relevant activities for this project:
- Training activities for social organizations, training technical / as, partners / as volunteers / as in the use of social media, presentations, making videos, Tools 2.0, etc.
- Programs of social entrepreneurship, both for detainees as university staff.
- Work with young people in vocational training, job search, training and mobility EVS European and international exchanges.
- Experience in the use of new technologies through our online training having its own platform managing measures and designing courses.
- We believe in e-inclusion, so we have more than 12,000 followers / as in our social profiles, empowered every day with material of interest: jobs, call, news, questions, etc. We create our own videos, posters, designs, updates etc.

With more than 10,400 people attended in 2014, Arrabal-AID accept learning as an axis on which our work, business, and we are committed to e-inclusion of young people in making their environment consciousness as a valid tool in which believe to develop.
