AYL means a purposeful activity intended to resolve youth problems and to seek to create favorable conditions for the formation of a young person and his integration into public life, as well as an activity, which has the purpose of achieving understanding and tolerance of society and individual groups thereof towards young people. Our aim is to engage and develop Armenian youth to positively impact the world, promote open youth to youth communication.
Activity Directions of AYL:
• To increase youth participation in national youth policy development and decision-making processes;
• To promote volunteering among young people and contribute to the recognition of volunteerism;
• To enhance cultural awareness among youth and encourage cross-border dialogue;
• To improve prospects for youth employability and support the personal and professional development of young people as well as ensure the development of youth employment infrastructure;
• To ensure the development of social security, education and health systems to meet various needs of youth;
• To educate a conscious, public-spirited, patriotic, mature, cultured and creative personality of a young person, capable of being an active part of diverse society;
• To establish favorable conditions for consistent and quality activities for youth and organizations working with youth with the view of more active involvement of youth in organized activities;
• To contribute to the development of the linguistic and communication skills of youth
• To promote the core mission and values of the Council of Europe related to human rights and democracy.
