The location:
The centre is located amid hills and agricultural scenery, principally olive groves, citrus orchards and vineyards, on the outskirts of the village of Karioupolis in the south Peleponnese in the prefecture of Laconia.
The shortest distance to the beach is about 3 km, and it is 15 km to the little towns of Areopolis and Gythio (retail shops, small businesses, tourism, health centre). Sparta is 40 km away (hospital).
The towns are also accessible via cross-country buses.

10 beds in 5 double rooms in the centre.
2+6 beds in 2 rooms in guest house A, approx. 3 km from the centre
2 beds/ 1 sofa bed in 2 rooms in guest house B, approx. 3.5 km from the centre

Activities, projects, programs:
Supervised manual activities in the garden - landscape gardening, pet care, home economics and gastronomy, a range of building trades, support for local social and community projects.

Involvement:
Participation in public events and festivals, school visits, visits to local community-based projects (volunteer fire brigade, ecological and animal protection groups), visits to local artisanal manufacturing companies

Excursions to Ancient sites,(Athens, Mystras Mycenae, Nafplio) beaches, hiking, cycling, sporting activities (football, table tennis, table football, water sports)

The provider:
The Arbeitsgemeinschaft für internationale Jugendprojekte Unna e.V. (Unna Association for International Youth Projects, AGIP) is an affiliation of youth assistance clubs that have been working in Unna for more than 30 years.
It has been recognised as an independent provider of assistance for children and young people in Greece since 1995 and is a member of the PARITÄTISCHER welfare association and the Union of Graeco-German Societies (Vereinigung der Deutsch-Griechischen Gesellschaften eV).
