Ιntroducing our team:
“Ap’ousia” Koinsep is mainly involved in the planning and implementation of educational and cultural programs based on experiential learning. Simultaneously, our team aims at the creation of educational communities with children and adults (educators/pedagogues, parents, etc) that will promote creative dialogue and explore new methods of learning and alternative approaches of art.
Οur team is composed by trained staff in the field of education, art and culture, which is proved by the members’ academic background and professional experience.
Common ground for “Ap’ousia” team’s members, is our interest in alternative and libertarian education, and our belief that play and self-regulation have a primary role in the educational process. Perceiving children as equal members of a team, with self-willed thought and their capacity to form their own opinions and find solutions to the problems they compose by themselves, the goal is for them to perceive the world around them by their own means and experiences.
How the members of the team met:
Coming from different fields and backgrounds, we met in work places, such as the Safe Zone for unaccompanied minors in Shisto Refugee camp (Attiki), Upendo Primary school in Kenya, as well as in educational seminars on experiential learning, and we decided to jointly put into practice our ideas in relation to education.
Educational Approach:
Our vision is to connect education with experiential game, as well as, to craft our activities based on the needs of students and teachers of each school.
Throughout the activities that we create, we empower collective learning instead of individual, as well as, we create the circumstances for the creation of a safe space where each person will be able to express freely.
The main principles that we adopt when designing and delivering our programs aspire to:
Empower experiential learning
Create surprising stimuli
Co-design programs in collaboration with participants
Promote interdisciplinary approach in education
Enhance familarization with collective processes
Include artistic approaches in any educational process
Create teams of self-education in collaboration with parents and teachers
Connect of the content of our programs with the existing social conditions and everyday life

All projects can be implemented in the following groups: children, adolescents and adults (i.e. educators, teachers, parents, and anyone who is interested in experiential learning).
