Antalya Kepez District Directorate of National Education Projects Office

There are schools of various types and levels within the Kepez District Directorate of National Education. There are 37 Kindergartens, 57 Primary Schools, 67 Secondary Schools, 38 High Schools, 16 Vocational High Schools and Special Education Schools affiliated to our Directorate. There are 6105 teachers and 106130 students in the district. Up to now, many schools within our directorate are actively involved in Erasmus+ projects. As the Directorate, we want to be partner & coordinator at Erasmus+ project in 2023 in order to provide a more inclusive framework and to ensure the inclusion of disadvantaged schools in Erasmus+ projects. We can guarantee that we will actively participate in the project writing, implementation and reporting process. Thanks to the school network we have, the highest participation will be achieved in the activities to be held in Antalya.

Kepez district is a migration region with families from rural areas of other provinces,mostly illiterate, with poor socioeconomic status and low education. The population coming to our district through immigration has difficulties in adapting to the city culture. In recent years, the number of students who are refugees in our country has increased significantly. We actively support educational cooperation activities to support school-age migrant, refugee, children and their families, especially those with great difficulties in social integration.
Moreover, the region we are located in is suitable for all kinds of activities in terms of climate, culture and history. Antalya is a paradise on earth with its natural and historical beauties, visited by two million tourists every year.
