Ankara Angora Youth Team

Ankara Angora Youth Team is a non-profit youth team that operates as a volunteer for youth and youth workers and focuses on raising awareness in the fields of youth rights, youth health, youth participation in political and social life, combating addictions and self-development.
Our main activities are based on intercultural learning and acting together, using non-formal education and youth programs in the field of addictions and health life by increasing the participation of young people in the international and local context. We contacted universities, youth teams, NGOs, and other institutions all over Europe to show that young people are not alone in their struggle with addictions, that their peers are struggling with problems just like them in many parts of Europe, and that we can act together to solve these problems.
In addition to this, our team, which continues to work in the field of discrimination, also continues to work on gender discrimination, LGBTQ rights, minority rights, rights of refugees and immigrants, rights of persons with disabilities and the problems experienced by everyone who have been faced with discrimination in social and daily life.
Although we are a team that started its activities in September 2021, our team consists of people who have managed in various NGOs and projects in Europe and Asia before the Youth Team, have a good command of international studies and multicultural projects and have worked in this field before. Therefore, we have a good command of the project culture and international projects, and we know how important it is to be a good project partner and project host.
