Çanakkale Denetimli Serbestlik Müdürlüğü

The Çanakkale Probation Office was established and began operations on July 20, 2005, in accordance with Law No. 5402 on Probation Services, published in the Official Gazette, and related regulations. This institution operates in the province of Çanakkale under the Ministry of Justice and the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Turkey. It ensures that children, adolescents, or adults who are arrested for committing a crime or sentenced by the court are monitored and supervised in the community rather than serving their sentences in penal institutions. During this process, necessary services, programs, and resources are provided for the individual's rehabilitation. Our institution aims to reform and reintegrate individuals into society, prevent recidivism, and promote socialization, while also focusing on protecting the community, ensuring public safety, and minimizing harm to victims.
