AMBeCO’, a non-profit cooperative, based in Abruzzo, the green region of Italy, born in 1998, from the idea to communicate in an innovative way with the environment, to better the environment. We have always been devoted in promoting sustainable development, AMBeCO’ is Center for educational environment and accredited training organization in Abruzzo region and it addresses schools of every order and grade, to the citizens and to the youngsters. Youngsters are the force of our future and the goal is to transmit them a more environmentally aware culture, to help built a more solid world, which is sustainable and thus better. Our company through its multiple activities – formation, environmental education, naturalistic tourism, environmental communication and event organizer - and thanks to an informal learning, it offers youngsters the instruments for a more responsible personal and professional growth. Starting from the knowledge one has of its own territory and thus from ones own rich identity, through the active participation of the youth. AMBeCO’ promotes a culture based on the respect given to others but also on the respect given to the environment, to cultural differences, gender equity and social inclusion. Through Eurodesk the company helps promote youth mobility, on the belief that the exchange and the comparison with other realities and cultures, that it might favor not only the growth of the youth and of new and innovative entrepreneurial activities, but also the development of the whole territory, thanks to the mutual exchange of knowledge and competences.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to contribute to promote a culture based on knowledge, able to realize a sustainable economical growth which aim is to protect the environment and a more social cohesion.
OUR GOALS
- encourage the relationship with its own territory/environment, promoting a healthy life style and environmentally respectful;
-increase youth employment and contribute to the personal and professional development, stimulating the creation of entrepreneurial initiatives;
- encourage citizens to participate in voluntary initiatives and encourage civic commitment;
- to inform and teach the youngsters on human rights and youth policies;
- promote interculturalism through the promotion of youth exchanges, training courses, working in the field, study exchanges, stages and volunteer programs;
- promote elimination of stereotypes such as gender and equal opportunities;
- sensitize youngsters on the importance of belonging to the EU.

ACTIVITIES OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION
Through the Center of Environmental Education, AMBeCO’, designs and analyses, projects integrated with schools and civil society, interfacing with local agencies (Councils, Regions, Protected Areas, DMC, GAL, etc.), with public and private realities. We offer creative workshops for students, personalized learning activities, organized tours, excursions for families and school camps.
The activities that we propose can be built around one or more of these arguments:
-biodiversity;
- food and health, with its related arguments: agricultural, respect of the territory, health, sustainable management of natural resources, decrease in ecological footprint, fair and sustainable models of production and consumption, traditions and knowledge;
- sustainable mobility;
- energy from renewable:
- climate change;
- recycling and reusability;
- education for the citizens;
- development of the territory and historical environmental assets;
- interculturalism.

NATURALISTIC TOURISM
Discover the territory with its environmental, historic and cultural values in a perspective of responsible and sustainable, which means to promote a culture of peace and development. The target groups mainly involved are schools and families.
AMBeCO’ proposes the organization and realization of:
- school camps;
- summer camps and trips;
- excursions on foot or by horse;
- stays and thematic itineraries.
The activities are carried out in contexts of undoubted environmental significance:
- National Abruzzo Park;
- National Sirente Velino Park;
- Natural reserve Zompo lo Schioppo;
- Urban park of Avezzano.

TRAINING
Youngsters and companies are the privileged recipients for our training activities. Many are the courses of qualification and no-qualification, that AMBeCO’ organizes. AMBeCO’ organizes training courses in companies and their loyalty facilitates the research for stages for youngsters.

EVENT ORGANIZER AND ENVIRONMENTAL COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGNS
AMBeCO’ organizes and realizes, with the cooperation of Parks, public and private agencies, numerous events and awareness campaigns on different arguments, directed to schools and to citizens, always in view of promoting a more sustainable environment.
