ALYTAUS JAUNIMO CENTRAS

Alytus Youth Center is a school for non-formal education, self-expression and leisure activities for children, youth and adults.
Its purpose is to meet the needs of students (children, youth and adults) for non-formal education and leisure activities, using funds from various funding sources and the intellectual resources of the institution's community; to ensure conditions for students of various age groups to reveal and implement their creative abilities in the cultural and social space, to find their place in an increasingly modernizing world, and to form a system of youth values ​​by providing educational content.

Alytus Youth Center is a non-formal education institution, which cannot be directly attributed only to additional employment functions. It is a broad-profile center of motivated training, new opportunities, initiative, valuable and purposeful use of time, prevention of harmful habits, development of personal and social competencies, preparation for life, acquiring the basics of professional knowledge, motivation to choose, achieve results, learn. Safe, oriented, democratic, open and attractive to the public, known in Lithuania and the world as a center providing high-quality services.

The institution's main activities:
* regular education of children, youth and adults: studies, clubs, courses, schools, centers, circles;
* cultural events: international, national, celebrations, exhibitions, competitions, contests, festivals, meetings, discussions, debates, seminars, conferences, summer recreation camps;
* exchange of information, cooperation with youth organizations, cultural and educational campaigns, preparation of youth education, cultural exchange projects and programs and participation in them.

Alytus Youth Center is open to people of all age groups, regardless of their place of residence or education.
