General Description Altıeylül Science High School (ALFEN) is a public secondary education institution located in Balıkesir, Türkiye. We provide education to students aged 14-18 with a curriculum heavily focused on STEM disciplines (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Natural Sciences.

Staff & Capacity Our school hosts a dynamic and motivated teaching staff who are open to professional development and innovative teaching methods. Although we are a relatively new institution, we have a strong administrative structure and a supportive parent community. The school is equipped with basic science laboratories and ICT facilities to support the academic curriculum.

Mission & International Strategy: Our primary mission is to prepare students for higher education in engineering, medicine, and natural sciences. Beyond academic success, we aim to develop our students' social and cultural skills through project-based learning. ALFEN is actively involved in eTwinning activities and aims to expand its international cooperation through the Erasmus+ Programme. Our goal is to exchange good practices with European partners, particularly in the fields of digital education, environmental sustainability, and innovative teaching methodologies.
