Aloe youth

Aloe Youth is an informal group consisted of young people in Greece, in the town of Thessaloniki. Few years ago, we started getting involved in the Erasmus + actions, and we gained experiences that we want to share with other young people. We are addressing to young Europeans coming from small communities with few opportunities to go around the world and experience non-formal learning. We would like to promote the value of healthy way of living and environmental conscience not only to the youth that coming from abroad, but also to the local community. This is the reason we organized actions such as healthy cooking seminars. Being a group of different people and having different interests we decided to reflect them on the group. So, our subject is about healthy eating and living, mental health, art & photography, cultural and environmental awareness and social sensitization. Specifically, we focus on ;
-learning/ respect new cultures so as to fight discrimination/ racism
-broaden the youth horizon and motivate them not to be afraid of the unknown
-promote critical thinking for active citizenship
-learning about solidarity and cooperation
-healthy life style and ecological life
-positive thinking
-discovering hidden aspects of ourselves
