Albanian Centre for Education, Tourism and Entrepreneurship - CEAPAL

Mission and Aims:

The mission of CEAPAL is to support the growth of human capacities, organizations and communities in Albania in the public and private sector in the field of tourism, environment, agriculture, economy and social welfare, with the aim of contributing to the country development and the inclusion of society in it.

Tasks and Objectives:
--- The major tasks and objectives of CEAPAL are to:
• Provide services/training in various sectors for the purpose of inclusive economic prosperity, democracy and governance, environmental protection, health, education, development and promotion of tourism, agri-tourism and sustainable development of rural areas through education and training of youth, wellbeing, agriculture, economy, justice, disaster relief, humanitarian aid, human rights protection, rule of law, etc.;
• Provide services/consultancy in the design and implementation of projects funded by the European Union and/or other national and international donors; To draw up feasibility studies for projects in the field of agriculture, economy, tourism, agrotourism and other public or private sectors; Draw up participation forms in all types of private or public grants in the Republic of Albania or in other countries.;
• Provide services for existing and emerging tourist destinations such as: planning, strategy, development and organization, linking to marketing and digitalization of the destination;
• Develop and supervise programs for professional education in the above areas for specific target groups;
• Provide exchange opportunities for interregional experiences in problem analysis, identification of values and promotion of tourism in the interest of the country's economic development;
• Suggest topics, draft training curricula, prepare groups of professional elements and prepare publications related to the above terms.
• Distribute information on available resources regularly to stakeholders;
• Organize seminars, trainings, educational trips, fairs and workshops.
• Educate residents of informal areas with principles of democracy, civil society and civil participation;
• Educate young people with few opportunities in social and economic integration, with leadership/leadership skills;
• Educate specific target groups, especially young people and marginalized groups of society in relation to the areas above;
• Spread new education/training methods and practices for increasing the capacity of population groups in need (women, young people, elderly) to integrate with social and economic life;
• Promote human rights, democratic principles and the rule of law in society;
• to increase public awareness to the challenges of the Albanian society toward the process of transformation and European integration;
• offer programs and instructional materials aimed at providing young people with the knowledge, and the opportunity to practice the skills necessary for effective citizenship in a democracy;
• raise awareness and realise life-long learning programs;
• organize and support trans-regional and international conferences, workshops, study visits and other activities aimed at a better knowledge of the neighbors and their cultural heritage.

• Feasibility study for “Shoe Designer Course” Financed by IADSA ( 2016- 2017)
• Mobile and Digital Storytelling on Environmental Issues" Financed from Goethe Institute in collaboration with UAMD ( 2017)
