Al Sabeel

Born in the biggest palestinian refugee camp (Ain Al Hilweh) in Saida, Lebanon, Al Sabeel has worked on supporting the learning process of children.

After finishing school at noon, children come to the association in order to develop their skills in a non-formal setting. Composed of volunteers, youth workers and project managers, the association team provides them with structured activities strictly oriented to developing their knowledge, skills and attitudes. While during holidays, leisure activities are implemented to contribute to their mental and physical well-being.

For a few years, the organization also hosts a Football Club where young adults are proud to wear the jersey of the association and defend education on the playfield. The sport club has been very successful, winning multiple championship and tournament and providing a space where fairplay and respect between players are promoted.

The association has worked and developed during many years thanks to European donators. Thanks to its past years of intense experience, Al Sabeel has learnt a lot and is now ready to go one step further on its educative journey with integrating and implementing Erasmus+ projects in Europe and in Lebanon.
