Akyurt District Directorate of national education

Located just a short distance from Ankara Esenboğa Airport and close to the city center, Akyurt enjoys a strategic position in the heart of Turkey, making it easily accessible to other provinces. The district boasts 34 schools, including 11 primary schools, 10 secondary schools, 6 high schools, 1 special education center, and 1 Science and Art Center (BILSEM). With 544 dedicated teachers and 8,730 students, Akyurt schools actively participate in both local and international projects, such as Erasmus+ and eTwinning. Moreover, under the coordination of the Akyurt Directorate of National Education, a KA210 project with a budget of €60,000 is being successfully implemented in partnership with four organizations.
