Aksaray T Tipi Kapalı ve Bağlı Açık Ceza İnfaz Kurumu

The "I Will Not Stay a Foreigner" project is an Erasmus+ project designed to contribute to the professional development of youth workers and prison staff working at the Aksaray T-Type Closed Penitentiary Institution in Turkey by taking advantage of good practice examples in Europe. The project aims to improve the communication and management skills of youth workers, especially those working with foreign young prisoners, and to learn techniques and methods that will contribute to their rehabilitation.

Objectives:

To increase the capacity of youth workers to communicate more effectively with young migrant prisoners and to provide training.

By examining good practice examples, to apply these methods in prisons in Turkey.

To learn new methods to improve social, cultural and professional development activities in prisons.

To improve the professional skills of the participants and to enable them to share their experiences in different countries.
