Purpose of the Association

The purpose of the association is to enhance the community’s preparedness and response capacity for disasters such as earthquakes, floods, fires, landslides, and all other types of natural emergencies. In this context, it carries out awareness-raising and educational activities before disasters, participates in search and rescue operations during disasters, and provides psychosocial support and solidarity-focused services to the community after disasters.Through its volunteer-based activities, the association aims to spread disaster awareness throughout society; it organizes training programs, seminars, drills, and awareness events. In addition, it supports the development and promotion of outdoor sports such as mountaineering, camping, hiking, rock climbing, caving, orienteering, and nature photography.The association encourages young people to grow with disaster awareness, love for nature, and a strong sense of social solidarity. In this regard, it establishes social activities, volunteer projects, training centers, and facilities.
