AISSER Association

Founded in 2011, AISSER Association from Calarasi has dedicated itself, over time, to the promotion and diversification of services and programs for young people („Young Project Manager in CBC area” project - www.esummerjobs.eu), which aim to train them in the spirit of European Union values and principles, as well as the promotion of volunteering („Young Volunteer” project - www.youngvolunteer.eu), through civic initiatives.

At the same time, in terms of tourism promotion, through the European projects, AISSER Association aims to promote national and international cultural values and to develop leisure, sports and ecological tourism, in order to facilitate a better use of the common tourist potential, by carrying out activities for developing tourist products, protecting the environment, and encouraging the practice of sport as a lifestyle.

Specifically, in the field of tourism, since 2018, AISSER Association is involved in creating and developing new integrated tourist products through cycling („Danube on 2 Wheels” project - www.danubeon2wheels.eu) and rowing („RowAdventure” project - www.rowadventure.eu) along Danube River, for a better utilization of the potential of cross-border area as a tourist destination.

AISSER has extensive experience in implementing European projects (investments of over 2 million EUR made through INTERREG V-A Romania - Bulgaria programme), having at the same time an increasingly significant proactive involvement in the life of communities in the cross-border region, with a focus on vulnerable groups represented by people with disabilities.

The projects made so far aim at developing ecological, sports, leisure tourism, in all its forms, and promoting alternative forms of education, culture and, last but not least, promoting a healthy lifestyle among communities, encompassing all social categories, with emphasis on the categories of vulnerable communities - the people with disabilities.
At the same time, AISSER aims to capitalize on the unique tourist potential of the cross-border region and to transform the Danube River into a bridge, and not a barrier, in the way of developing the relations between Romania and Bulgaria, but not only.

We take this opportunity so that other NGOs and other entities get to know us better and, insofar, if interested, to consider us as possible partners in the development of future European projects capable of adding value to our communities.

Don`t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to meet our future partners!

Best regards,
AISSER Association team
