AIELO DE MALFERIT TOWN HALL

The Youth House of Aielo de Malferit, is a municipal service promoted by the Municipality whose main objective is to promote, encourage and support initiatives in the field of local youth.

The Youth House is a public space, active, dynamic and participatory, which develops many activities, programs and services for youth in areas such as: partnership and participation, training/information/ advice, leisure, volunteering, culture, etc.

Many of our youth are unemployed and with few prospects for the future. This situation is leading to decrease their chances of meeting other social and cultural rights, due to lack of financial resources and especially discouragement.

One line of work we are trying to promote is to encourage the involvement of local youth in the design and development of a project within the Youth in Action Programme, in order to meet young people from other European countries in order to meet, exchange and share their cultures and discuss their realities, problems and concerns.
