We are an independent, humanitarian and non-profit organisation, highly passionate about young people education. Changing lives makes us happy! We truly believe in transformative power of non-formal education and its ability to simplify the way we teach, learn, perform and elevate experience.

Our Mission:
In Ahead we believe that active citizenship does not end in active participation neither it depends only on politics and taking part in elections, but it encompasses personal, social, political and human rights. The right to education is connected with the identity of a person as a citizen and it is an important means for promoting democracy as well as combating various issues such as social, human and environmental that its continuation depends. We are confident that solving these problems is closely connected with the person, who is the cornerstone of a democratic society. We believe that the future, not only of democracy but also Europe’s and humanity’s is closely connected with social inclusion and freedoms.

All our activities that implement the methods of non-formal learning are consistent with the recommendation of the EU Council in 2012 for the validation of non-formal and informal learning.
Our initiatives support the objectives of the strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, Europe 2020 aimed at promoting the recognition of non-formal learning. Leading to the acquisition and recognition of competences required for further education and successful realization on the labor market for young people.
