aha - Tipps und Infos für junge Leute

aha is a nationwide youth institution focusing on four main areas: youth information, youth projects, the EU "Youth in Action" programme and JUBEL. Funded by Liechtenstein’s ‘youth information service’, aha is aimed at teenagers and young adults aged 12 to 30 (as well as disseminators of youth work such as parents, teachers and youth workers).
aha has connections to numerous youth organisations both in Liechtenstein and abroad.

Youth projects
aha organises youth projects at a national, regional and international level, helps young people to realise their own projects, and offers a range of courses designed for teenagers and young adults. These courses include...

...supporting project management.
...a cross-regional youth project competition for young people between 14 and 25.
...international camps and youth exchange programmes throughout Europe.
...school projects with all kinds of secondary schools.
...Europe camp, for young people with and without disabilities.
...training for youth workers monitoring young people in international projects and camps or organising the latter.
...cross-regional youth projects around Lake Constance as part of the International Lake Constance Conference.

Youth information means...
...offering assistance from A to Z, including via European information networks such as Eurodesk and ERYICA.
...developing young people’s ability to gather information in order to take independent and responsible decisions.
...providing advice, support and help.
...supporting young people in using a range of tools to access information.
...collecting information and "translating" it into language that is easy to understand for young people.
...informing young people about relevant topics at www.aha.li, via social media and using hard copies.
...using a special job database to help young people find a summer job.
...coordinating nationwide activities during school holidays for children aged 3 to 12.

EU "Youth in Action" programme
"Youth in Action" aims to support young people by opening up a wide range of formal and non-formal education opportunities in Liechtenstein and across Europe. The programme is divided into five operational actions and offers young people from Liechtenstein aged 13 to 30 support with…

...projects.
...youth congresses.
...stays abroad and networking activities.
...international training courses for disseminators of youth work.
aha has been entrusted with running Liechtenstein’s national agency for the EU’s "Youth in Action" programme. As such, it is responsible for providing advice and support with youth projects, financing and monitoring projects, and reporting back to Liechtenstein’s authorities and the European Commission.

jubel programme
"jubel" is a nationwide programme aimed at involving Liechtenstein’s young people and encouraging them to (learn to) assume responsibility as active citizens for what is going on around them. Young people who actively participate in life are more interested in what is happening around them and in shaping their future, and they also have a stronger connection to their country. "jubel" is not linked to any political party and includes young people from all countries. It aims to promote dialogue between the generations, mutual respect and a greater understanding of each other, including making adults aware of issues that are important to young people.
aha is responsible for making "jubel" happen, which includes...

...preparing pupils who have been elected as class representatives at school (training).
...supporting the members of the youth board.
...providing support with project management and presentations.
...organising an assembly once a year.
...coaching the project groups.
...networking with schools and social workers.
