Agrupamento de Escolas Ribeiro Sanches, Penamacor

The Agrupamento de Escolas Ribeiro Sanches, currently covers from Pre-School to High School. In addition to regular education there are also Vocational Courses in secondary education, Education and Training courses in Basic Education.
It is made up of 2 public schools: the Penamacor Basic School which includes the 1st cycle and 1 kindergarten and which receives all the students of the municipality of these levels of education and the Basic and Secondary School Ribeiro Sanches which includes the 2nd, 3rd cycles and secondary.

OUR MISSION:
a.) The role of teaching and learning should be developed in a harmonious and supportive environment for the student's academic, personal and social development in order to train active and responsible citizens.
b.) It is up to the Agrupamento de Escolas Ribeiro Sanches (AERS) to provide the community with a quality service, based on a culture of exigency, rigor and responsibility, evaluated by the principles and values organized in the Basic Law of the Educational System.
c.) One of the challenges for AERS is that our students have a deeper knowledge of the county, its cultural, economic and social potential, with a view to employability and the fight against desertification and illiteracy.
