Agrupamento de Escolas de Celeirós in Braga, 3rd portuguese town has seven schools from the kindergarten to the 9th grade. Our students are mainly Portuguese but in the last years the number of students from other nationalities has been increasing. The number of students is about 900 with ages between 3 and 16 years old. We have 6% of students with special needs.
Our mission is to educate to the future, promoting an active citizenship, based on the capacity to answer to the fast changes of our global world.
We want to be a space of excellence as an education institution. We want to be recognized by the quality and innovation in educational practices.
We want to offer our pupils taking part in the project Erasmus +. We want to involve the largest possible quantity of students and teachers. We plan intercurricullar activities, including the project to different subject courses (Geography, Physics , Science, New Technologies and Foreign languages). We want to offer our students European contacts and education through international activities. We want to introduce the culture, history, landscape and people of our region to other European countries. Our role is to work and contribute for the project implementation.
