Agorà Società Cooperativa Sociale ONLUS

Agorà - Società Cooperativa Sociale ONLUS was founded in 2008 with the mission of meeting the general interest of the community, the human promotion and social integration of citizens through the management of social, health and educational services. Specifically, the services designed and offered by Agorà are intented for children and adolescents of both sexes in an age range of 6-21 years which:
• have the status of unaccompanied foreign minors arriving on the EU territory
• have been temporarily or permanently removed from their family environment by referral of the child protection services
• are subject to penal proceedings when relevant authorities order their placement in a residential setting.
Such services delineate an integrated educational proposal, complementary to the family, and constitute a transitional safe space for children and adolescents displaying socially deviant behaviors or experiencing uncomfortable conditions that can be removed with the assistance and mentoring of specialized professional figures.
Currently, Agorà pursues its mission through:
• 2 residential shelter houses for children and adolescents of both sexes in an age range of 13-21 years;
• 1 semi-residential multifunctional day center for children and adolescents of both sexes in an age range of 6-18 years.
