Agones SFC

The aim of the sports organization is to instil into its members all the various benefits and values sports can bring. These social skills will than help the members to be more positively active in the community. We believe that sports and physical activity helps the individual to be self-disciplined, teaching every participant organisational and time management skills; not forgetting the socializing factor, sportsmanship, and team spirit – something every Agonian should have.

The organization caters for different age brackets and levels. From riders who barely can cycle to racing in tours, from full distance finishers to a sprint triathlon, from a 2km fun run to a full marathon, we try to provide the emotional support, educational awareness, training and technical support so that everyone can reach his/her personal targets with a big smile on their face.

Our members come from different backgrounds, where everyone is welcome to share his/her experiences for all of us to learn from. We have vast experience in the voluntary field when it comes to event organization, undergoing local projects with the various local councils and working along with other NGOs. Some of our members have had international experiences through other organisations which is also a good contribution for us.
