AGIFODENT ASSOCIATION

Staff in our association have been working for more than 10 years in public and private institutions with different types of European projects (Leonardo, Socrates, Grundtvig, Daphne, Transfer of Innovation, MED, KA1, KA2, etc) concerning different areas all in relation with education. I would like very much to take part in your partners network for a project.

I write now more information about AGIFODENT, as introduction:

AGIFODENT www.agifodent.es is a non-profit organization that was set in in late 2002 with the purpose to inform, train and educate all users and institutions in educational matters through European education programs. Throughout a decade of years, our organization has defined its objectives in terms of social and educational needs, their goals being defined in the following activities:

- To work in all types of actual educational problems for a better education, from children to university students, as well as with adults education.
- To organize cultural activities aimed at further development, conservation and cultural promotion.
- To perform all types of information activities and training, especially in new technologies and to promote the use of free softwares.
- To promote and disseminate European culture in the context of Andalusian society, and primarily within the educational community, to produce a cultural exchange whose outcome is the mutual understanding and the improvement of the coexistence between the two.
- To promote, within the education community, research and knowledge from a historical, anthropological, artistic, ethnological, social, cultural, humanistic, ideological and political heritage in Europe.
- To encourage cultural encounters promoting educational and scientific research experiences that promote understanding and awareness in .
- To develop advocacy, development, research, publishing books and generation of projects related to Andalusian heritage and culture.
- To disseminate cultural pluralism, coexistence and tolerance in .
- To defend that the legitimate rights of European citizens are understood as a minority in the different social fields and cultures (people with disabilities, dependents, persons with special needs, persons in situations of exclusion).
- To actively promote all the tasks aimed at education and training for understanding the natural environment, as any activity that promotes the creation of a global sustainable development and protection of Nature, Environment and Climate Change.
- To develop environmental projects and activities for ecological protection of the environment, through awareness, information and education.
- To establish contacts between Andalusian citizens and Europeans to learn languages, European cultures and relations between them.
- To address international activities as a global view of improving the employment, educational and professional situation of citizens, and in general, the overall improvement of .
- To bring the youth all the training available to improve their skills, especially through community initiatives, international programs and European mobility programs.
- To inform and facilitate transnational mobility for the Andalusians.
- To develop methods and services that help the learner at an intercultural and language level, strengthening the knowledge of other cultures and ways of life around .
- To promote discussion and treatment of social problems: unemployment, racism, environment and climate change, poverty, crime, alcoholism, prostitution, social exclusion, the inclusion of disadvantaged groups (especially people with disabilities), from a transnational, possibility tating the exchange of knowledge and experience between European towns and cities.
- To provide services that facilitate the most difficult tasks when scheduling activities in , such as finding partners, particularly difficult to access information, translation, filling of application forms, location and contact partners, and any other activity that helps to promotion and development of European programs.
- To collaborate with public authorities, trade unions and private entities in all matters relating to the management of educational activities within our region.
- To educate and expand culture, especially teacher training in all branches and all those working directly or indirectly in the education field.
- To implement and develop programs and training activities for civic, cultural, scientific, health and labor fields.
- To strength institutional cooperation for development, promotion of volunteerism, promotion of social action, environmental protection, data protection, promotion of social economy, promotion of constitutional values ​​and defend attics democratic principles, promotion of tolerance, development of scientific research and technological development.
- To contribute to all the strategies and calls from the various institutions that make up the management bodies of the European Union, with the aim of collaborating in the dissemination of all principles and values ​​that have enabled the European Union and all strategies management available to the Association.

New Technologies

AGIFODENT was initially created in order to inform, train and educate all users and institutions in matters of European programs, new technologies and free software because they provide possibilities, benefits and services that are essential and daily spanding. In particular, to promote participation in European programs and the use of ICT by providing information, training and processing.

To achieve these aims AGIFODENT:

a. Makes information and training activities in the areas of European programs, new technologies and the promotion of free softwares.
b. Develops scheduled performance in quality control of new technologies and free software, and comparative analysis of different goods and services today.
c. Iintegrates into other similar groups to provide reliable information to its members.
d. Develops action plans (subsidies, grants, programs) which seek training in general in terms of ICT.
e. Develops different European training programs related to ICT.

AGIFODENT This area focuses on three distinct sectors of activity and purpose:

- Members and potential new technologies, end users such as individuals, small businesses, students, etc, initiated or perfected in the use of new technologies. In this sector our members and the general public in our state are a reference point in basic training and support to their knowledge.
- International expansion entities: all entities related to the world of education who want to collaborate, exchange or participate in research projects and educational development internationally.This sector is formed by the department of international programs, where, thanks to new technologies we can develop and participate in educational projects beyond the borders.
- Companies and users of the ICT sector: companies with a standard or extended use of new technologies and advanced users, such as computer departments, technicians, graduates, installers, etc. This sector is the cognitive part of our Association. His experience and knowledge are provided to other partners for their support and help.

Agifodent GROUP

The main objective is to promote and encourage AGIFODENT European programs, training and ICT sector in our region, as key elements for economic and social development. Therefore the horizontal conglomerate Grupo Agifodent other non-profit interests and goals united by a single administration and management. This promotes initiatives aimed at promoting ICT in all areas: its use at an educational level, and domestic business, the integration of new technological elements and all kinds of statements in ICT, and development of the ICT business sector.

A generic way, we can define the way we work in seven sections:

a) To promote and disseminate in society everything related to activity in the area of ​​computers and Free Software, as a substantial element in the development process. To open the doors of knowledge of the Internet for personal and business development at all levels and educational function.
b) To provide training and advisory services to partners and on request. Training is undoubtedly the basis for the future. A continuous and specialist training in any subject, based on experience and knowledge of other countries, some knowledge will undoubtedly preferential impact on personal and business development in a competitive world as it is today.
c) To promote the participation of computer professionals in interdisciplinary teams to promote the application of computer media to other professional activities. Having the presence of advanced technical staff will not only prestige and name to our organization, but relevant experimental knowledge we further open the doors to new experiences.
d) To promote research in all areas through European projects, including strengthening the use of free software platforms, working towards the improvement of education, science and technology. Our international projects department collaborates on an ongoing educational programs of all the materials to other countries, sharing knowledge, experiences, skills and new ways of working that are provided to our partners through the Private Area.
e) To foster a spirit of solidarity, consideration and assistance to partners, establishing a close link between them.
f) To promote and implement the development and training partners. A wide range of online training, classroom, distance and blended learning where our members participate for free (for active employees and freelancers). AGIFODENT permanently develops various group plans further training in new technologies, human resources, data protection, and language.
g) To advise their members in all matters relating to aspects of training, intellectual property and free software.

Also projects are underway to implement a common work area for all its members and the applicants, providing equipment and library materials both timely and highly technical.
