aFFaC

aFFaC (Federated Associations of Families of Students of Catalonia) is a non-profit organization and NGO that works to defend the right to education of anyone in Catalonia, under equal conditions and without discrimination of any kind. The commitment to guaranteeing this human right makes her work in the field of defending human rights and women's rights, understanding that all human rights are interdependent. aFFaC defends the right to a public, quality, secular, equitable, inclusive, free, democratic, mixed, feminist and environmentally sustainable education.
aFFaC is governed by statutes and internal regulations (approved in the assembly in 2020) that are aligned with the defense of human rights and that include the entity's purposes:
c) Work for the guarantee of human rights and the fundamental freedoms of childhood and adolescence, from the respect for the principle of equality and non-discrimination without distinction based on birth, ethnicity, sex, gender, sexual orientation, religion, opinion or any other personal or social condition or circumstance.
d) Raise awareness in Catalan society about the recognition and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, individual and collective, internationally recognized, through actions, programs and projects aimed at achieving this goal.
