AFESMO
AFESMO is a non-profit association. The main purpose is support to people with mental health problems and their relatives. AFESMO has got a day centre with many services and programmes: - Psychological Intervention, Family attendance, Sport and physical activities, occupational tasks, Leisure programme…
Within this schema is AFESMO music band called Soul Travellers. This musical group is composed by both, people with and without mental health problems. The main goal of Soul Travellers is contribution to decrease stigma and increase knowledge about mental health problems issues.
Past projects
Mental Health and Migration
The purpose of project is increase the knowledge about irregular migrations items and the special difficulties that people with mental health problems suffer.
Music for welfare
Music for welfare is focused in Music not only as integration tool for people with mental health problems but also as stigma eradication tool.
Life is a theatre
Life is a theatre is focused in activities for reducing stygma of people with mental health problems and other disabilities and increasing knowledge about them.
