AEGEE Cagliari

AEGEE-Cagliari, founded in 1995, is one of the most active italian locals of the AEGEE Network (Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l'Europe), one of the biggest interdisciplinary European students’ association. Our local counts with almost 200 members, young and motivated people who work, as volunteers, to promote mobility and active citizenship among students. We colaborate with the University of Cagliari and several Institutions (as the Municipality of Cagliari and the Sardinian Autonomous Region) to spread AEGEE aims: multiculturalism, active citizenship, stability, democracy. We organize a lot of local events, as conferences and active days (to promote AEGEE events and project) especially at the University, courses (as Local Training Courses for our members), weekly meetings and trips with the Erasmus students. We regularly take part on AEGEE European events all over the Network and every summer we adhere to the Summer University Project, the oldest and biggest AEGEE project. Moreover, we colaborate with several antennas in cultural exchanges (the last one took part in Cagliari in April) and partnerships. In Cagliari our association is involved in a bigger project which includes every student association of our city, in order to strengthen our visibility on the mobility field.
