AHEAD PROFILE

The Advocacy for Health, Education, Agriculture & Development (AHEAD), a local non-profit organization currently in its start-up phase established September, 2009 and accredited by the Ministry of Planning & Economic Affairs on December 27, 2010 (US 501 (c) 3) equivalent, number: MPEA/NGO/AC#:0716 run by a group of experienced leaders determined to find and develop sustainable, self-sufficient ways to reduce poverty among poor and vulnerable populations/youth; as a new organization in its third year of development, AHEAD has been in the process of seeking early stage donor funding/support in order to fight poverty and exclusion in diverse ways.

VISION

In a world where poverty has become the worst enemy of humanity, AHEAD aims to help vulnerable populations reach their potential through health, educational, agricultural and Community development initiatives in order to fight poverty and exclusion more effectively.

MISSION STATEMENT

AHEAD’s mission is to unleash the potentials of institutions and professionals by utilizing their available time, talents, resources and opportunities in ways that more consciously benefit and promote people’s quality of life, especially, the excluded in society and other key affected populations; to promote the bottom to top equal participatory approach which empowers beneficiaries to become decision makers; and sustainable development with human dignity at its core.
