ADEM Florida

The ADEM (Association for the Development of Musical Expression),
founded in 1993, is based in Agen (Nouvelle Aquitaine). Its vocation is to
bring answers to the societal stakes in its territory by offering artistic and
cultural projects in the fields of today’s music (rock, rap, reggae, metal,
etc.) and digital technologies (CAM/Computer assisted music...).
The ADEM supports the activity of the « Florida », a 750 seat concert
hall with four rehearsal studios and one digital technologies studio,
welcoming 15,000 persons per year.
Our fields of actions are :
· Coaching and development of amateur practices among the youth
· Cultural action toward the youth, in schools, in priority
neighborhoods, in rural areas, in prison…
· An amplified music and digital arts program (60 shows per year)
· Democratization of digital technologies thanks to numerous
initiations, trainings, workshops, boot camps, events…
· Training and coaching the youth to achieve their projects through
know-how transfer, skills development…
· Supporting artistic creation thanks to the presence of established
artists throughout the year
The ADEM has developed specific skills related to digital
technologies through its dedicated studio and thanks to the skills of the
staff in charge of them: mapping, video game coding, CAM, electronic
items recycling…...
The ADEM is committed since 2013 in a CSR (Corporate Social
Responsibility) process and works on its liability and the impact of its
choices and activities on its economic, social and ecological
environment.
That work, unique in the cultural sector, has led the ADEM to look into
the quality of the relationship it develops with its partners, its audience
and especially with the youth of its territory.
