Adana 2nd Open Penal Institution Workhouse Directorate is a public institution located in Adana, Türkiye. Our institution carries out educational, social, cultural, production-based and reintegration-oriented activities for individuals with fewer opportunities in a structured public service environment.

Our work focuses on supporting disadvantaged individuals, including young people, through daily structured activities, responsibility-based learning, work discipline, personal development, social adaptation and preparation for reintegration into society. Our staff work directly with individuals who need guidance, motivation and social inclusion support.

The institution has experience in agricultural production, workhouse workshops, social responsibility activities, cooperation with local stakeholders and project-based development initiatives. We aim to strengthen the professional capacity of our staff, especially those working directly with young people with fewer opportunities, by learning and adapting innovative youth work methods from European partners.

We are interested in cooperation in the fields of youth work, non-formal learning, social inclusion, motivation, communication, gamification, digital storytelling, peer-support approaches and reintegration processes.

Through international cooperation, we would like to exchange good practices, develop new methods and contribute to the quality of youth work in structured institutional settings. We are open to cooperation with NGOs, youth centres, public institutions, foundations, training organisations and other experienced bodies active in the youth field.
