Adamos

ADAMOS was founded in February 2012, and put together a team of experienced volunteers, but also new members (students) in Bucharest. Even though it is a young NGO, we have projects focusing mostly on active citizenship, non formal education and trainings on negotiation, leadership and diplomacy directed to young people in Romania. We collaborate with many NGOs from Romania and from abroad regarding youth initiatives, community related actions and activities. We have many plans for the future and also setting up collaborations for future projects with other young people in Europe. So far we have 2 ongoing projects - DIPLO - which involves sessions of trainings on diplomacy, negotiation, leadership, international protocol which young people attend in order to gain skills in these fields and to better understand the principles that govern them. Another initiative is 'CSD Community' which is implemented in collaboration with ASER Association and has ongoing networking events for the members and alumni of the Diplomatic Students Club, the purpose being that of developing a community of young specialists interested in diplomacy. We also partake in YIA projects and will become active with regards to the EVS sector.
