Active Youth and Sport Association (AYSC)

AYSC was established in 2001 by youngsters and trainers with the main aim to promote individual development of the youngsters, active participation at the local government and outdoor activities in Çanakkale City in Turkey. International activities started in 2004 and continue till now. Initially the group activated as informal youth group and in 2008 the group obtained the legal status as NGO. In January 2012 the new status was obtained as youth and sport club. Our organization accredited to run projects under European Voluntary Service (EVS) in 2014. We are a local youth association and also in cooperation with municipality, city council, universities, youth and sport ministry and the other non governmental organizations.
Today, our events and activities are realized mainly for youth. More exactly, AYSC is focusing on participation of the youngsters to political and social life; promotes international cooperation and development especially at the European level; individual development of youngsters through culture, art and sport.
Our activities realized are from the following areas: communication, inclusion, intercultural, disadvantaged groups, nature and environment, sport and outdoor activities, scouting, human rights, handcrafts and EU topics.
