Active Vitorazsko z. s.

Active Vitorazsko, z. s. is an association based in the Vitorazsko microregion, located in the southern part of the Třeboň region, right on the border with Austria. Our international organization brings together people on both sides of the Czech-Austrian border. However, we have members and supporters not only from Vitorazsko and the Waldviertel, but also from various corners of the Czech Republic and Austria, who spread our common ideas – to spend free time meaningfully, to devote ourselves to youth of all social classes and to behave ecologically and sustainably.
Our group of people work together and individually to make us and others happier in our lives. Our organization has no employees. All activities are performed for free after work or while studying and our members do not receive any financial reward. We are united by strong friendship and the desire to improve the environment around us.
We have a long history as an informal group of people. We have been organizing joint activities for more than ten years. To be able to participate in international programs, we registered in the federal register.
We are actively engaged in work (not only) with youth, education, leisure activities, sports, volunteering and work with refugees in the Austrian part of the Vitorazsko region (Waldviertel). We co-organize meetings with citizens, experts and politicians, public happenings and peaceful demonstrations. Our activity also focuses on environmental protection. We actively fought for the preservation of the hundred-year-old horse alley in České Velenice, which we succeeded in doing.

In 2023, we received a grant from the Erasmus+ program to organize a training course in Georgia (Creativity and critical thinking), youth exchange in Georgia (rituals and language games), mobility of youth workers in Armenia (communication skills and conflict management).
In 2024, we organized a youth exchange in the Czech Republic on the topic of inclusion. The partners were Italy, Spain, Portugal and Estonia.

In 2025, we organized a youth exchange in the Czech Republic on the topic outdoor adventure. The partners were Italy, Spain, North Macedonia and Romania.

We have experienced members in the European Erasmus+ program. They have participated in training courses, youth exchanges and seminars in many countries (Italy, Germany, France, Turkey, Romania, Serbia or even Armenia...)

We can also become your partner organisation and send participants to your mobility project. We select participants properly, and we know all of them personally. We will select participants according to your wishes (age, social background, hobbies, experiences).
