Activ'Royans

Activ’Royans was funded in 2006, in a rural area near Lyon and Grenoble, near the french Alps.

The association offers a non-formal education program of collective activities, in the field of culture, art and sport, like music, dance, graphic arts, wellness, badminton, judo...
Through such activities, people from 5 to 99 years old can discover new hobbies, new interests, enjoy and improve themselves, meet others and take part in collective experiences.

We support the inhabitants in their initiatives, eg creation of leisure activities, organization of cultural festivals.
We promote local producers.
We also help young people to develop their own projects, especially 11-15 year old to organize their leisure time

Because of our rural location, mobility difficulties are a reality for residents, and in particular for young people. For some, it is a barrier to access to training and employment.

We want to invest in European and intercultural projects to promote mobility and open-mindedness. These projects are a chance for young people to meet other people, to move on the territory and in their minds.

Activ’Royans is directed by a board of volunteers.

We cooperate with other local structures working in the youth and social field: NGOs and associations, paramedics, schools, local politicians...

Our team of workers (3 people) has a long experience in the development and management of projects. One of our youth workers has organized youth exchanges in another organization since 2014. He has participated in several Erasmus+ training courses.

We want to develop Erasmus projects for young people aged 18-25, but also for minors aged 15-17.
