ACLI FRANCE

Acli France were born in 1947 to support italian migrats and their families in their integration
Its main aims are: delivery of social services for workers and disadvantaged people, provide assistance to the Italian -
French community in France, promotion of citizenship education.
ACLI France with their different structures delivery social services for workers and disadvantaged people, tax advice,
pension support. They also have a psychological office and legal advice service.
The association is committed to developing events aimed at promoting active citizenship.
In recent years, meetings and debates on politics, society and work have been held at the Acli France headquarters,
involving university academics and researchers, journalists, writers, politicians, etc.
ACLI France realise a lot of activities oriented towards the newcomers, such as French courses, workshop on the French
health system, French education system, CV writing and self-employed status. Bilingual activities with children and projects
accompanying parenthood as an expat family in France are also organised.
ACLI France have long experience in hosting young people: Italian Civic Service, IVO4ALL project, Erasmus for
Traineeship.
ACLI France have long experience in submitting survey about Italian migration in France such as «Nuova migrazione
italiana in Francia» conduct in collaboration with FILEF Nuova Migrazione.
ACLI France is working on a database to collect the most frequently asked questions by Italians to the association in order
to provide a prompte and an efficient answer
In 2016 Acli France joined Ecotemps, a network for the exchange of time and services without the use of currency, leading
to the birth of Ecotemps Paris. The aim of Ecotemps is to develop social cohesion and encourage citizen involvement
through a system open to all residents, young and old, stay-at-home parents, employees and unemployed, students, the
elderly, without any discrimination.
In June 2019 Ecotemps Paris started its collaboration with the municipality of Parisian 12 th district.
Acli France coordinete a project intitled "a book for the future" which was selected in the framework of the call of the Paris
Municipality for applications "Label Paris Europe 2020".
The association counts 3500 members in France and its main areas of influence include the cities of Paris, Metz,
Valenciennes, Marseille, Grenoble and their surroundings.
