Accademia di Agricoltura di Torino

Accademia di Agricoltura di Torino, founded in 1785, promotes the advancement of agricultural sciences and related disciplines to support the development of the agroforestry, livestock, and food sectors, with respect for the environment.

Based in North Italy, Piedmont, its mission is pursued through events, publications, research and experimentation, and collaborations with public and private bodies, as well as national and international institutions.

The Academy focuses on two main audiences: students (from primary school to university) and agricultural professionals. It actively contributes to education in the region, collaborating with agricultural schools and universities — especially the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Food Sciences — and offering (in)formative programs for professionals, including those recognised for training credits by relevant professional bodies.
