Academy of innovation

Academy of innovation appeared as informal movement in 2013, as reaction to the current needs of young people of different regions of Russia. Young people in Russia would love to develop personal and professional skills through non-formal education, as there is no other way and would love to realize their potential and to take a lead in reaching common benefit, addressing common problems such as peace, equality, lack of intercultural dialogue, unemployment. Since 2014 organization was registered, in order to provide more educational opportunities for youth, especially intercultural and international projects which impact is so valuable in the current social and political situation. The organization was established by youth workers, representatives from business and educational sectors willing to cooperate together for common good.

Academy of innovation aims at support and development of social and cultural responsibility of the civil society through development of young people, especially such competences as active citizenship, inspirational leadership, intercultural dialogue and respect for human rights and peace in the world. In order to achieve this aim Academy of Innovation offers a set of instruments and tools for young people such as non-formal education, different forms of participative learning including flexible schooling and participation in social, youth and volunteering projects.
