ABF Södra Småland

ABF Södra Småland is a local branch of Arbetarnas Bildningsförbund ("Workers educational association"), which is the oldest study organisation in Sweden and a part of the Swedish labour movement. Every year ABF Södra Småland conducts over 900 study circles and over 2000 lectures and cultural events together with about 180 different NGOs. These NGOs are a mixture of organisations working with and trough a vivid of targets groups such as workers, immigrants, unaccompanied minors, people with disabilities, seniors, and many more.

All activities that are conducted by ABF is based on the educational tradition of liberal adult education, which means to learn from and through the participants.

ABF Södra Småland also works with a vivid of different projects. At the moment, ABF Södra Småland is the project manager for four various projects, three at a local level and one international project. ABF Södra Småland has also been a partner in projects managed by other organisations, for example, projects financed by Erasmus+.
