ApEAL

ApEAL is involved in promoting actions of social, educational and entrepreneurial involvement amongst vulnerable youth in rural communities since 2006. ApEAL uses experiential education and mentoring to support youth in their personal and professional development by creating context for them to involve and manage projects for their community. We aim to transform the character - behavior of youth in a desirable direction, the acquisition of new behaviors and knowledge.
Vision: Transform rural communities by achieving well-being and good status through non-formal and entrepreneurial education, hence by stimulating initiative amongst the young people in the villages.

The organisation pursues the following objectives:
To offer the rural community a model of education for success, with maximum reminiscence in the personal plan of those involved and community as well as possible transformational.
To strengthen the group of young people from the community "Successful Youth Club", a model of youth association in which the activity is based on the concept "personal development through community involvement".
To link the rural cultural space with the urban one and with the European cultural space.
To support and mentor the involvement of the Successful Youth Club in the creation of non-formal workshops for the other young people in the community.
Awareness in rural communities of the importance of having a clean, open and prepared natural environment for non-invasive and nature-friendly activities, such as eco cycling.
