YOUTH EMPLOYMENT AND ENTREPNEURSHIP CENTER

Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Centre NGO established in Armenia in June 2019.
The main aim is to promote entrepreneurship, identify and tackle employment issues, and increase their competitiveness in the labour market.
The main goals of the center are:
• promote the entrepreneurship of young people, their innovative and creative initiatives;
• assist in the solution of youth employment issues, the development of a vocational guidance system, and the promotion of competitiveness in labor market;
• to promote effective cooperation between stakeholders in the labor market, the establishment of a social partnership and a public-private partnership system;
• To encourage social entrepreneurship and active community and socio-economic participation of young people
The tasks of the center are:
• monitor development of trends related to youth employment, entrepreneurship and other related areas (education, youth policy, participation, etc.), carry out relevant studies, develop recommendations on current legislation, policies, reforms and programs.
• Raise awareness of young people about various educational programs (creative and innovative skills, competitive skills in the labor market, business skills, copyright, etc.),
• promote effective interaction between educational institutions and employers, to support the implementation of educational programs relevant to labor market requirements.
• promote effective social partnerships (public administration bodies, employers, trade unions) as well as effective public-private cooperation mechanisms;
• promote the development of an effective system of vocational guidance and career services for young people, support the recognition and dissemination of volunteer work;
• develop start-up ideas and implement acceleration programs
• carry out publishing activities, set up a media outlet,
The main bodies are General Assembly, Executive Board, President.
The Center have 2 main Departments: Departments of Public Relations, Department of Project Management,
The whole staff is consisting of 10 people yet. 7 people doing Voluntary work.
