UngSolrød

UngSolrød is a state funded branch of the local municipality that offers free and low cost leisure activities to all youths that live in the city of Solrød from 7th grade until they reach 18years of age. The organization offers a wide range of activities spanning from courses in event management to scuba diving and Japanese. The core task for UngSolrød is to introduce democratic involvement as well as strengthen and develop social and creative skills they do not learn in a traditional school setting. As an organization we have a relatively free room for decision making as long as the activities adhere to our legal guidelines provided from the municipality and the government.

We are very interested in joining cultural exchange projects, seminars with youths as well as training & networking for youths between 13-18 years old.

Please know that we do not currently have the capacity to lead and develop projects ourselves, and can therefore primarily contribute with sending danish youth participants to engage in the projects.
